  how to tell field dominance

  I’m increasingly getting sent video as Mov files over ftp but have no way of knowing what the field dominance is when I import it into Avid. Is there a utility out there that can tell me?

  GSpot seems to be the one everyone raves about but this doesn’t seem to support Mov files.

  The problem I’m having is i’m editing off of a computer monitor so the video always looks okay when played back.

  Do you have After Effects? if you do then go to this link :

  Then watch the tutorial for their plug-in “Frames”, in their you will find a very useful and effective technique, at least thats my opinion.
