  HD deck

  Hello,
  I work in video production and my department is buying new HD cameras that film on MiniDV tapes. Do we need to get HD decks? Would our standard DVCam or MiniDV decks work with HD video? Would we loose the HD quality?

  Also, if we produce programs in HD, what would be the best format to store the programs in for broadcast? Standard DVD’s? Thank you so much for your help and attention.
