  Panasonic AJ-D230H won’t receive audio via Firewire

  I already posted this in the Adobe Premiere forum, but since it’s probably a problem with the deck and not Premiere I thought I’d cross-post in here too…

  My work just purchased a Panasonic AJ-D230H DVCPro deck and I’m having issues with it through Adobe Premiere CS3. The deck plays back perfectly and I can capture perfectly in Premiere through Firewire, but when I preview the timeline or print to tape, the deck only receives video and does not show or record any audio levels from Premiere over Firewire.

  I’ve done a ton of searching and it looks like this could be some incorrect settings on the deck, obsolete firmware on the deck, or a compatibility issue with Premiere… has anyone experienced this problem?
