  Playout from Mac Pro to Data Video SE-800

  Help! How do I play out video from Mac Pro directly into Data Video SE 800? I tried the firewire connection, but nothing comes through…. Please, help!

  you must buy SOMEONES capture/output card. AJA, Blackmagic, MOTU, or Matrox. They all work. And AJA and Blackmagic have nice forums on Creative Cow. All have video outputs that will go into your video switcher. How can you do this without spending any money – I don’t know the answer.

  we use an aja card to connect to the switcher…
