  4-3 to 16-9

  Hi there

  Long story.. but have to shoot 4-3 that will be converted to 16-9.Format will be betasp.

  Can I just frame the top as the top,and the bottom be cut off,rather than leaving headroom at the top and bottom.

  What actually is the best way to get 4-3 footage to 16-9?

  Ok thanks for the info,so framing just for the top of frame by not be the best idea.

  Actually the shoot is now being done on my digibeta so I dont have the problem anymore.

  Ridiculous to shoot with a 4-3 camera for 16-9 in this day and age.. the edit place didnt have a digibeta deck!!!
