I just got a betacam back from the dub house. I popped it in my betacam deck and set up the bars to check the copy. I adjusted blacks with setup and the white level with video, but there is a pretty sizable shift down in the mids. Is this something I can adjust from the deck? But more importantly, is this something a station will adjust? ASSUMING they actually set up the bars for the spot?

Typically we don’t get dubs back from them, they go straight to air, so i’m concerned how many have gone out like this.

    Thanks-

Just a thought: I sent them a digital file to make the dub from. Is it possible they are not adding setup when they lay it off? Is that what it would look like?
