  mpeg encoding for broadcast streaming

  Anybody have any suggestions for high end software or hardware encoders for broadcast output. I’m currently using FCP to export the .m2v/.aif(ac3) files and then manazanita muxes into .mpg files. I’m looking at a Harmonic setup, but they want a signal(rather than a file like Manzanita)as the input so I would just be doing R/T out from the G5 into the harmonic and then letting it create the .mpg. Any other ideas?
