  Does anyone have any idea where I could find out info on licensing official F1 footage?

  Media rights are through Formula One Management, a corporate entity dealing with media relations and financial matters regarding Formula One. FOM doesn’t have it’s own website, you might find contact info via http://www.formula1.com or other searches.
