  Mac Based “on-air” master control automation

  Does anyone know of a software company that has designed a solution for on-air commercial and program insertion (Master control automation) ? My buddy is trying to have his cable station programed about 2 weeks ahead but needs a solution that will allow him to make a log of events, then will access his X-serves and run the programing.

  I don’t know much about it and it might not even apply for what you need but Grass Valley came out with support for Apple with a couple of their News Products last year.
