  curious about FMP4 + ASP

  hello everybody, im currently experimenting with ffmpeg using mediacoder, i have a dvtb decoder connected to my tv which is capable of handling MPEG4 ASP D1 files through an usb port. I noticed that if i play an XVID or DX50 file it works perfectly, while if i play a movie encoded using FMP4 it works only using Simple Profiles. If i try to encode it using FMP4 + Advanced Simple Profiles (for example using the parameters -bf 2 -level 5) the video is laggy..is it a problem with the dvtb decoder or what? i can run xvid + ASP@L5 without any problem.

  PS: in order to play FMP4 files i need to change the fourcc code to either XVID or DX50 otherwise it wont work.
