  ffmpeg avi to flv conversion

  Hi,
  I am new to ffmpeg.When I tried to convert an avi file to flv using FFMPEG,

  ffmpeg -i uploads/flame.avi -f flv -s 320x240 uploads/flame1.flv | flvtool2 -U stdin uploads/flame1.flv
  I can create a flv file but with size 0 k.
  it shows the following error.
  **[avi @ 0x10e8420]Could not find codec parameters (Video: IV41 / 0x31345649, 256×240)
  uploads/flame.avi: could not find codec parameters**

  I also run it without using the flvtool2 portion in the command the errors related with flvtool2 is removed. Actually what we are using this flvtool2? Is it possible to create a flv file without using flvtool2? What is this codec parameters????
