End the Agony
We are a content producer needing to deliver programming to various cable and satellite systems, including Bell TV Canada, Vubiquity and Dish.
Until last year, we did everything old-school via layoff to tape. This year, we have committed to going 100% digital delivery. The problem is, we can’t find the right software package that meets our needs of pro quality, relative ease of use and the ability to generate output with emphasis on MPEG-2 (.mxf, .mpg or .ts file extensions) in a variety configurations.
We are running El-Capitan on a newer MacPro and have tried Compressor, Streamclip, Media Encoder, DivX, Monavi and a few others. What’s left? Any recommendations? Is Telestream Episode Pro the only other game in town? Sorensen Squeeze? Any input is appreciated. Thank you.
