  True AVI format?

  Hi, I’m asking on behalf of a coworker who’s working with a client requesting a “TRUE AVI FORMAT”

  They said they’ve given them many .AVI’s with many codecs and they aren’t accepting them and keep saying they need True Avi format.

  What does this mean?! I’ve never heard of a true avi format..?

  You may want to explain what’s not accepting them.
  AVI is a container that contain any number of codecs.
  If they have a specific program or a specific codec, they should provide that info.

  There’s a True audio codec.
