  could you give me a hint: what is the best soft for upconverting / upscaling SD footage to HD…?
  (HD Video Converter Factory Pro? Video Enhancer? or this method with After Effects -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uMxlShzH5s? or anything else….)

  If you want a freeware solution, just use AVISynth and many of their great resize plugin.

  Other than that, this sites claim they give better result than Lanczos3 method (Avisynth version?).
