  Convert to ProRes YUYV422

  I was asked to deliver a video file using Apple ProRes 422 and with surface format YUYV422. I have never heard of surface format before, and an extensive Google search has made me even more confused.

  Anyone know exactly how I would go about doing this? Or perhaps someone can explain “surface formats”? It seems that I need to use ffmpeg to accomplish this, and it looks like there is a very steep learning curve to that program. My project is in Premiere Pro CC14.

  EDIT: I am running MacOSX Mavericks. The source files are a variety of formats, but primarily h264 in a m2ts container. And the file is being delivered to be played on a jumbotron.

  ProRes 4444 is YCbCrA or RGBA
  ProRes 422 is YUV YCbCr
