Compressor dialogue – “Unable to submit to queue”
I’ve been working on a Motion 5.1.1 project and discovered that all the Share options, other than ‘Send to Compressor’ are greyed out. When I select this option, Compressor opens, allows me to select the codec but when I submit the batch, I am informed that “Unable to submit to queue – please restart your computer or verify your Compressor installation is correct.”
Compressor was working up until this point, FWIW.
I’m having a sneaking suspicion that I’m going to have to uninstall and then reinstall Motion and Compressor.
Can anyone shine ANY light on this and whether or not there is a solution, please.

Motion should be 5.1 and Compressor 4.1.1. Make sure your version are current first.

Create a New User Admin account. Reboot. Log into the new account.
Open the Motion project and try to send to Compressor in the new account.
This will let you know whether the issue is user account or system based. -
Hey Craig,
Was doing that as your email came in. Sadly, Motion & Compressor still “crash”.I’ve recreated the project from scratch in both user accounts and I’m left with having to uninstall and reinstall Motion. Baffles the heck out of me.
Many thanks for your replies and advice. Uninstalling everything and starting again.

Make sure you get rid of preference files and related as well.

Compressor 4.1.2 just released.
One of the fixes listed is Send To Compressor from Motion.
Motion 5.1.1 is released.
