  Used Compressor Export Specifically For YouTube but I’m getting an error…..

  Hi,

  I used one of compressor 4’s settings specifically for video streaming services… (the 540 P setting) but I still get this error from YouTube:

  For better results, adjust your Quicktime settings to prepare videos for internet streaming. For more information, visit our Help Center.

  What the heck am I missing here? I need to have these videos absolutely ready for internet streaming by wednesday morning… any help would be very much appreciated. I’m so tired of wasting so many hours to do this and then having less than the desired result.

  The default preset doesn’t have “Fast Start” enabled, which YouTube prefers. Just duplicate the preset and in “Encoder” you’ll see Streaming set to None. Change that to Fast Start.
