  Canon 5dmkii footage to IMX 50 mb/s pal in MXF Wrapper for MTV Switzerland

  Hi All

  I’ve made a music video for a Swiss band and it’s about to be submitted for MTV Switzerland.

  I’m using FCP7

  I’ve been told it needs to be in a MXF wrapper and after spending 8 hours searching the web I still can’t figure out how to do it.

  If anybody knows how please help.

  Telestream Episode or Sorenson Squeeze can do this, most likely an re-encode.
  Telestream Episode definitely does IMX50 MXF.

  Thanks for your quick response. I definitely can’t afford that at the moment. Is there no cheaper solutions?

  HamburgMedia also has MXF Export Suite for FCP7. At 499 Euros it’s not any less expensive that Episode or Squeeze.

  you can download sony “XDCAM Transfer” for free to create MXF
