    Need some assistance. I’ve got a client who requests a video of mine converted to:

    H264 MPEG4 AVC (part10) (avc1). I can’t seem to figure out what that is and how to do it.

    They sent me some specs of an existing video and want me to compress my QT out of Final Cut Pro7. I have Compressor and Episode compression programs. None seem to have these options.

    AVC, H.264, MPEG4 Part 10 are all basically the same. Different terms to describe the same codec.
    The metadata might show the names slightly differently depending on how the player or file analysis tool is seeing/reading it.

    H.264 .mp4 would probably be fine. H.264 .mov should work as well.
