  old WMV to MP4 audio loosens up

  I have some old WMV some back to WMV 6 & 4 and back to 2005. These 320 by 240 wmv’s need to be converted to mp4’s. I have used Squeeze for the recent wmv’s and done well, but these old ones loose the audio sync the older the video is when converted with Squeeze. I also used Handbrake and the video looked horrible. Has anyone had success with a certain converter & codec for this?

  Just an idea: have you though of trying to go uncompressed and then go to MP4? You’l build some big files, but they may fix your sync problems.
