  RGB 10 Bit to Pro-Res – Footage from Millennium II

  I had some super 8 footage transferred on a Millennium II from Pro8mm in LA. I asked for Pro-res back but instead received ‘RGB 10 Bit Uncompressed.’

  I could open it only on one computer at work, and when I got home I could open it only with Handbrake (which couldn’t make a nice ProRes for me to edit with).

  I know I’m missing some component for quicktime to open this. But what? I’ve downloaded what seems like everything. I obviously can’t pay, and can wait until I go to work on Monday, but would love to know what I’m missing?

  Mac OSX 10.6.8 – updated everything – tried downloading all sorts of stuff.
