    Hi

I’ve recently had to do several PAL to NTSC conversions using Compressor, and they’ve all gone fine up until this recent one.

The workflow for them all was capturing the footage in FCP as Uncompressed 8-Bit, exporting from FCP as a self contained movie, into Compressor with the relevant settings – (29.97 frame rate in the Encoder Tab, in the Frame Control tab set Rate Conversion to Best, set duration to 100% of source, etc.), but now it gets near to completion and Compressor says,

“Status: Failed – QuickTime could not access a file. Offset too big”

My only thoughts are that the hard drives are reasonably full which could be causing this, but there’s still a good 10% of space left on them.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could could be causing this?

    Many thanks

    Dan
