  Best compression software for mastering to blu ray

  Hello Creative Cows,

  I’m new to the forums, but have been a reader for years, thank you all for the intense input.

  My question: What software gets the best results for screening using an hd beamer for a 1080p25 timeline? footage was shot on ex3 and after coming from after affects is now a 10bit uncompressed 1080p25. as far as I found out blu ray (at least in germany) does not include 1080p, but i read that one could wrap it in 1080i50 wrapper. but how to do this and which software on a mac gets the highest result? i have tried compressor, but the result was not good, much jerkiness and soft focus.

  i am on a mac using snow leopard on a macbook pro 2008.
