  Apple Compressor questions

  I have about 40 separate files that I need to compress, so I can burn them to DVD. They came to me as mp4 files, shot on an Ipad. I have converted the mp4 files to separate quicktime movies.

  Can I use Compressor to make the Quicktime movies playable on a DVD? I would like to keep each movie separate, so that the user can go to each one on their own.

  I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t figure out how to do this.

  I know how to import 1 mov file and make a DVD with that, but how do I have multiple mov files compress into chapters on one DVD?

  What you’re talking about is authoring. So you need an authoring program, like DVD Studio Pro. If you have Compressor from the Final Cut Studio Suite, then you have DVD Studio Pro. Check out Ken Stone’s page for some tips to get you started…
