  Blu Ray burner for mac?

  What is a good external blu ray burner for use with Mac?
  I was thinking of getting a Sony 6x usb external and noticed they only support windows.

  Lots of choices. I really wouldn’t use USB only. You’d want one with multiple connection options IMHO.

  Thanks, this mis great! I preferred firewire anyway.
  Have you found their brand shown reliable?
  I see they have other brands as well but no Sonys.

  We mostly burn Data Blu Ray’s but we’ve never had an issue. I always let it verify the data because some disks have failed verification and needed re burnt.
