  MAJOR problems compressing and FCP sequence in Compressor

  HI,

  apologies if this is really dumb-I am new to Compressor.

  I have 2 DVDs to make-both are created in FCP, both are 1 hour long. Both are SD Pal 16:9

  I send them to Compressor, go to Best Quality 90 min settings, but FCP always crashes along the way, or the file says it is going to take 90 hours to complete!
  I am getting quite desperate,as the project is due very soon!
  Do I need to export the sequence as another codec first, or can I export straight from FCP?

  Can anyone help?

  You might want to try Compressor repair – if this doesn’t work, there are other workarounds.
