  Xdcam EX + macbook pro intel core 2.3

  I’ve installed all the softs and drivers from sony and it seems that in compressir I don’t have the xdcam EX setting!!! It seems that my laptop is too new for the drivers andd softs from Sony…. Help!

  You’d need Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 and up to have the EX codec.

  You haven’t described what you’ve attempted so I’m not sure how you’ve reached the conclusion that you don’t have the codec. EX.mov would work as source in Compressor. The .mp4 source files would not.
