  • Workflow for converting multiple EX1 frame rates?

So I did a bit of searching but I’m not finding this specific question…

I’m putting together a demo reel comprised of multiple frame rates, all shot with the Sony EX1. Given the nature of the EX1’s mp4 files, I can’t figure out a fast workflow to change everything to one frame rate for editing. Compressor won’t accept the raw mp4 files from the BPAV folder, nor will it accept mxf files exported from Clip Browser.

The first thing that came to mind for a workflow was this; Import mp4 files to FCP using Log & Transfer>export from timeline as .mov file>convert frame rate in Compressor>go back and edit in FCP.

Anyone have a better/faster workflow than this? I’m working with a lot of clips so I need something faster than the above suggestion.

    Thanks!
