  red laser blu-ray problem

  I have done this in the past with good results, however today I get a message (on a Intel MacPro 2×2 Dual core Intel Xeon 6GB RAM with Compressor 3.5.1)
  “Disc cannot be created because another application is using the drive.” However, no other applications are open. Any ideas?

  Reboot and see if that helps.
  Otherwise create a new user admin account and kill all login items for that account and try from there.
