  Compressor settings for SD uprez

  I’m editing a trailer in FCP 7 for a documentary series which was shot XDCAMHD at 23.98. I am staying native in the timeline. I need to insert some NBC Archive stocks into the piece which originate as SD 29.97 interlaced. I would appreciate any help in walking me through the correct settings in Compressor to get the SD clips upscaled to 1920 X 1080 23.98 with black wings?

  I figured it out. I found the appropriate XDCAM HD preset under the Advanced Format Conversions folder in Compressor and changed the Output Image inset setting to Preserve source aspect ratio.
