  Compressor, Final Cut Studio: DVD 90 Min Best Quality

  Hey All, I have seen a few threads that touch on this but no definitive answers. I am using Compressor in Final Cut Studio, using NTSC-DV Anamorphic video. There is some heavy pulsating going on through out the video once it is compressed. Does anybody know what this is or how to get rid of it?

  Try encoding using a straight 6.3 mbps CBR insted of VBR. The 90 Minute VBR could be causing this.

  Is it field inversion?
  Maybe try converting to progressive in Compressor while going to .m2v

  Did you export a QT movie from FCP (self-contained or reference)? Does that movie also give the pulsating?
