  .mov to .avi

  Hello cc.net

  I have 20 clips shot using the Sony XDCAM HD in 1080i60.
  Used XDcam Transfer to get the files onto my macBook Pro (2.8Gz Intel, 10.6) and now I need to get these 1920×1080 .mov files into
  1280×720 .avi files.

  I tried using wondershare video converter, and iskysoft video converter to do this transcode (purchased) and im having trouble getting the desired result.
  both outputs look squished (and for some reason, the encoder displays the original frame size as 1440×1080) and their is an annoying “DIVX” logo in the bottom right corner on .avi playback.

  does anyone know where i have made a mistake in this process?
