March 13, 2010 at 12:21 amYou probably need to use something with a very good internal muxer that also uses the MainConcept SDK, such as Rhozet Carbon Coder.

March 13, 2010 at 1:31 amWhat does setting the Gop structure have to do with getting another encoding system?

March 13, 2010 at 2:05 amI have a trial of MainConcept 1.5.1 for Mac, apparently 2.0 is Windows only and I haven’t had a change to check that out on one of my Windows boxes.
It may be that getting to the advanced features isn’t very intuitive. For example to set Keyframe interval you click on the little wrench to the right of codec and in the window that opens and in the Basic tab there’s Keyframe where you can set the interval which may be the “length” your looking for. It also allows you to select keyframe on scene change, which I’d generally leave on.
