OK – I have a video, that I have compressor using Apple’s Compressor. My end goal is to use this video in Flash on a website. My problem is that whatever file format I compress the video into, Flash doesn’t recognize it. I’ve even tried just running the full and compressed videos through Adobe Encoder, but I end up with a file that is so large, it isn’t even realistic.

Suggestions for compressing for Flash? Should I migrate over to using Quicktime videos on my websites? I seem to get smaller files compressing to .mov.

Here is all the essential info:
    Computer: MacPro 2 x 3.0 Quad-Core Intel
    OS: Mac OSX 10.5.7
Final Cut Studio: Got the brand new update for the full studio
Source: .mov files from FCP. Files are AVC I believe – from the Panasonic HMC-150
Detination codec: Anything that Flash will recognize. I’d like to use .mov files if Flash will see them. Will use any others if necessary.
Type of use: For a website.
