  No Audio in Flip4Mac wmv import

  I’m trying to convert a streaming MMV file to non-streaming in Flip4Mac Studio Pro HD (is that possible?). Opening the .wmv file in QT 7.5.5 results in video but no audio. Importing into FCP brings in the video track but no audio. Telestream’s support site shows a solution for the opposite problem of audio but no video. I don’t see a solution for this. Any idea?

  What’s the audio codec of the WMV?
  Flip4Mac is not compatible with Voice codec and there’s also some proprietary audio plugins that work with WMP11 on Windows but have no Mac equivalent.

  Use WMP9Mac and its File/GetInfo to determine the audio codec.
