I’ve shot, edit, compressed and created plenty of shorter format DVDs from DVCProHD. I now have a 90 minute program that needs compression. It was shot and edited in 720/24p. I have a dual core, dual processor 3.0 system with 4GB ram with SS5 on board . So, two questions:

    1. Any best practices to get all that information on the DVD and have it look great in SS5?

    2. How long will such a thing take? Presently I’m compressing and it tells me 5 hours. That seems kind of long.

    Thanks,

    Michael

    1. Single or dual layer?

    2. Depends on the settings, seems fine to me..
