    Hello

Just curious if anyone has an opinion or suggestion on a dedicated windows media hardware encoder that supports SDI input.

The idea is to connect directly to the SDI output of my multibridge (blackmagic) and encode streams from real-time play out.

Perhaps this can be dome now a days with a really good computer, encoding software and SDI card???

Currently encoring wmvs with episode pro (proving unreliable) and pro-coder 2, a bit painful workflow getting media the PC can read off the mac.

    Many Thanks
    Daniel

I think Digital Rapids used to make one.

Look at Viewcast Osprey cards. I rate Viewcast products quite highly.

Digital Rapids is another great option but probably complete overkill.

There are other options out there but I couldn’t personally recommend them.
