I’m not sure if this is the correct forum, but does anybody have any hints for getting the best quality from videos uploaded to YouTube?
So far, what’s working best for me is MP4, 640 x 480 at the highest bit rate possible.
I’ve tried other formats such as H264, WMV and FLV, but the MP4 is still the cleanest.
Also, YouTube recently added a high quality playback option that only seems to work on videos that began as MP4

This is probably the best guides around. If you’re using windows then most of the settings and workflow detailed will still apply.
