You might go over to the Cow Telestream Episode Forum.

    https://forums.creativecow.net/forum/telestream_episode.

You export from FCP as you would for any other project. Use your Sequence settings.
Drop the mov file into the Batch window.

Drop the settings DG sent you into the Compression Settings window and then apply them to the mov file in the Batch window.

    Chapter 4 Introduction to Episode
    and
    Chapter 5 Episode in Detail
Should tell you all the basics you need to know.

There’s also a training DVD that normally sells for $99 but you get a 25% discount with Episode.

Episode does have some not so obvious ways of doing things so reading the Manual is a must (and it can still be confusing).
