  Adobe CS3 production premium

  Greetings,

  I was wondering if anyone had opinions on compression
  out of premier or after effects in CS3. It is my understanding that it is better to render uncompressed or animation out of the adobe apps, and to then to use a standalone application for compressing video like squeeze or procoder.

  My main delivery is HD H264 and wmv9.

  If it is better to use a stand alone app. What are my best options. and why are these better than Adobe’s compression features?

  Any clarity on this situation is welcome.

  My route would be to export either as a Quicktime reference movie (i.e. not self-contained) or at the same settings as your source format.

  Supply that to a dedicated encoder.

  Procoder or carbon coder would be my choice for a Windows product.
