I’m looking for a solution to encode 720×486 MOV and MPEG-2 files from :30 spots to be FTP’d for broadcast. Exporting AVI’s from edit v5 using the Targa M-JPEG codec directly from the timeline. Will Procoder 3 (or other application) accept the Targa AVI as a source as long as I’m using the Morgan LSI codec installed on an off-line XP machine? Will Procoder accept TGA or JPEG image sequences as source material and allow me to create the media files? Their website is vague and I have yet to get a reply from tech support.

    Thanks in advance!

    Try downloading the demo version?

No demo available for Procoder 3…or 2 for that matter. The demo is several years old and is 1.x

Procoder is pretty good about being able to read just about anything as long as the appropriate codecs are installed.

I’ve never done it, but Procoder can import image sequences….you load the first sequence file in the sequence as a source, then select “multi-image files”…
