  Seeing data rate post compresions.

  I need to deliver a muxed MPEG 2 file with a total data rate of 3Mbs. Is there a way to validate this after compression. I am using Sonic SD encoder and Transmux. I can set my encoding to whatever I need but would like to QC it before shipment to make sure I am deliveraing what they want.

  Hi,

  Although not refreshed as the file plays, MPEG Streamclip gives you some file info Menu -> File -> Show stream info.
