  brightness problem with h.264

  Hello all,
  I have huge problem with compressing video to QT’s h.264
  It doesnt depend on edit program all Avid, AE renders look
  the same – Blacks arent black, all footage is kinda greyish.
  I think its some kind gamma differences between Mac and PC.

  Any ideas how to export QT in h.264 compression and preserve
  my colours?

  This is a widely report issue and has been discussed on many forums for quite a while.

  A quick search on Google will provide you with all the information, fixes and work arounds you’ll need.

  Oddly there’s not much at the Cow about this.

  It’s a London thing.

  ye, i have searched the web, but all
  know how solving that problem is written
  for macs – not even one for pc

  anyone has direct link to page where
  the problem is solved?
