I am trying to export a video that is 3500*768. The program it is going to (Dataton Watch Out) preferes mpeg 2 but I cannot seem to find the setting in compresser to change the size.
    Is this a possablity??
    Thanks

No, it’s not possible and it’s not necessary to go to that resolution, either.

Check out the Watchout user guide on their site, it’ll guide you through the production process.

    It’s a London thing.

I know i dont have to use the full resolution but it would be so much simpler.

    Randy,

Like I said it’s not possible – you’ll find a full list of possilbe (legal) frame sizes here:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG-2

You’ll have an even harder job finding an encoder that’ll support them all.

The methods outlined by Dataton will be FAR easier than finding a way to encode MPEG-2 (or any format for that matter) to 3500×768.

I get what your saying now.
I was under the impression that I would be cropping the pictures in Watch Out.
Makes a lot more sence now.
    Thanks

    Randy
