I’ve been using Compressor’s default settings for MPEG-2 DVD outputs, but it is outputting video only mpeg files. I don’t see any setting indicating no audio or video only. It is a QuickTime file. I also imported it into Final Cut Pro and am trying exporting to Compressor through Final Cut Pro. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

MPEG-2 file settings for DVDs compress video and audio as separate files (elementary stream).
An MPEG-2 with audio muxed into it is a program stream (not for DVDs). When you choose a setting for compressing there’s an audio selection too. In Compressor 2 you get to choose between
an AIFF audio setting and AC3 (Dolby2) or both. In Compressor 1 you export the audio to AIFF
then use A.Pack (which comes with Compressor) to compress to Dolby (AC3)
Read the manual, it’s all there.
