Activity Forums Compression Techniques mpeg-1 loop

Is it possible to make an mpeg-1 loop automatically?

I have produced a point-of-sale video for a client using After Effects. The client wants the video to loop automatically. Normally this would be no problem, but the video screen that I’m using reads directly from a flash device and it only recognizes mpeg-1. (The instructions to the screen also says it reads mpeg-2, although I’m not able to get that to work, and I don’t see how that would help anyway)

I can get the vid to loop in quicktime by checking the box in the view menu, but QT will only save the modified file as a .mov, which the screen will not read. If I convert this .mov to an mpeg-1, then it fails to loop.

    Any suggestions?
