  • Simple OSX editor for MPEG-1 must exist?

    Hi All

I’m looking for a very simple editor that will allow me to take an MPEG-1 movie and select a section of the movie and then save that as a new movie without re-encoding. I know all about GOPs and I’m not looking for frame accuracy. preferably it would be for Mac OSX.

I can’t find anything that works – the nearest is SimpleMovieX but I can’t get it to work properly.

QuickTime Pro can do this for QT but not for MPEG.

    Help appreciated

    Andy.

Try MpegStreamclip…do a google search and you will find it. It is pretty much standard equipment if you are on a Mac.
