MPEG-1 in Cleaner 6.5
I have been asked to make an MPEG-1 out of a movie file for “universal” playback. Basically, I need the file to be layable on as many computers as possible, and have been asked to make an MPEG-1. I am trying to make a new preset in Cleaner for this, but have a question that I can’t seem to find the anser to – even in the manual. In the output section of the settings window, I am asked to choose a “Stream Type” – the choices are elementary or system. I need the audio to be muxed together with the video in an MPEG-1. It is my understanding from the DVD world and MPEG-2 that an elementary stream is video only and that a program stream is a .vob – muxed audio and video… but this particular choice escapes me. What should I choose here for highest compatibility? Thanks,
