I’m working with C4D R21. I’m trying to make changes in the mouth/face of a Fuse/Mixamo human figure. I’m attempting to use sculpting in C4D to make those changes.

When I use sculpting on other objects with the sculpting tools, they operate as they should. However, when I attempt to use them with the mouth/face of the Fuse/Mixamo figure, the changes take place as long as the mouse cursor is active. However, as soon as the mouse/cursor is removed from the screen the change snaps back to its original position. For example, if I Grab a portion of the facial mesh and move it, it moves. But, as soon as I release the mouse button, the facial mesh snaps back to its original position.

Also, If I attempt to do the Subdivide function in Sculpt, the sculpt tools will not work at all.

Any suggestions how to get sculpting to work so the sculpting changes made remain in place for this Fuse/Mixamo face?

    Thanks!
