  • tears in displacement surface… can’t seem to get rid of it

    Hi,

check out the image that I’ve uploaded. I’m trying to create a displacement using noise, and there are tears in my surface. I’ve turned on sub poly displacement, and also turned up the subdivisions but nothing gets rid of them. I’m using a node texture. Would that be the issue? It only seems to happen on the object’s edges and they are just spheres set to octahedron? I tried it on subdivided cubes, etc. and it always happens. I can’t find a solution online.

UPDATE I now see that it is directly related to the new Node material. I can do this using the standard shader and it works, but I still need to be able to find a solution with the node material.
